Architecture in Italy—scenic from afar, awe-inspiring up close.
It has been a while since I last drew a portrait. So, when my sister asked me to draw her godson’s photo for her to give as a birthday gift, I immediately took the opportunity. Too bad I couldn’t find my charcoal pencil so i just used my trusty 7B. Nonetheless, it just feels great to finally draw again.

Ban and I went on a little Quiapo adventure today. Initially, it was only to have new lenses made for my new frames. Then I remembered all the disposable film cameras (those cute plastic Kodaks) from my sister’s wedding last year, rotting away in my cabinet. So, I added having them developed to my Quiapo to-do. There were a few shots left for us to play with so I took random shots around the area and some turned out fine. :)
P.S. Last photo on the photo set: stupid finger!

Backpacking in Coron with my 59-year-old lakwatsa-loving mom, 60D and my sister’s trusty TX10.
Ivan’s pre-birthday celebration last September 8. I’m just happy he’s happy. :)
